Ron,
That's a Continental power unit from an early combine before the Cub power unit became available.

That there is the engine the Cub SHOULD have had!
I have a 52R combine with that engine. It is the easiest engine to crank start I have ever been around. (Though my Cub-powered combine starts good once I learned the "combination."
I see yours has the correct choke rod. Mine is missing.
How much difference is there between that and the starter rod on a Cub? I have an extra one I have thought about using for the choke if it's "close."

Super A,
I didn't buy this one I was just looking and trying to make sure I knew what it was before I got serious....didn't happen. It was on E-bay and may still be. $150
