They had the sheet metal over the fenders , engine area & the exhaust runnig low so they would not damange the limbs on the trees or damage the tractor.
The limbs would just glide past the tractor w/o damage to anything in its path.
Hope this help.

Ok now this Orchard has to be one of the earlier ones from the mid 30's and is very sweet indeed. Thanks go to Bill the Builder for this pic from a few yrs ago of his fathers O-12 I stumbled upon in the photo host.
My 2 boys & I have recently joined the local historical artifacts group and while poking around through the tractor sheds have come across an O-4 and a rare 1934 W12 on steel which we hope to be able to play with as they are both rummored to be running I am amazed that a Tractor made in Wisconson in 34 has some how ended up here on an Island 3000 miles away from its birth place
Its been a while since I've found any more pics of Orchard tractors but a buddy sent me this awsome one he took at Red Power last year. If any of you go this year take some pics of orchards and post em here or email em to me TKS Don This is the best of the Buck rogers I've seen yet. thanks Matt
well after waiting and looking at what few pics I can find from red Power 08 I am only able to find one pic of an Orchard posted by Dale , thanks surely there has to be more
Is that an orchard model or is it the UDX. combination tractor car. very collectible either way.

Cannot seem to generate the same search results. Will try again, as there were dozens of pics of O-6's yeterday.
