A friend of mine has a Case W3 backhoe. The Case NH dealer could not tell anything except no parts available. I cannot find much information online. Anyone have a good resource for these?

Try the Case/IH dealer. New Holland was purchased by Case/IH but according to the local New Holland dealer, Case/IH will not send them the necessary parts, service, etc. manuals.

I googled Case W3. The parts and service manuals are still available for the backhoe and wheeled loader. I also tried Carter&Gruenwald - no luck there.

I have purchased Case skidsteer parts from the IH dealer. I did have to take in the part number and a picture of the parts. Kinda of a note - From the clerks expression when I told him what I wanted - I thought he was going to tell me parts weren't available. Then I gave him the part number and picture. He didn't appear a whole lot happier, but he did order the part.

Have you tried the construction equipment dealer in your area?

If all else fails, purchase the parts and service manuals.

Valu-bilt lists the manifold for a W-3. Valu-bilt deals in "farm tractors". So parts are available. It's going to take a bit of research to find the needed part number(s) and then perhaps a cross reference.

OH. The New Holland dealer sign still says New Holland and there are no new red tractors on the lot.

Around here there are 2 completely separate dealers. One has red tractors and the other has blue. Both also stock orange (one has kubota and the other has Kioti). They are not friendly with each other, so I am sure cooperation between them is minimal.

JI Case Agricultural & Construction Equipment 1956-1994, Vol. 2
This story begins in the mid-1950s, picking up where the first volume ended. Authors Tom Stonehouse and Eldon Brumbaugh offer this insider’s account of the Case Company. Find out why the focus shifted to the larger tractors, what influenced the design and manufacture of construction equipment, how the acquisition of IH in 1985 impacted the Case line, and how Case went full circle to become one of the leading full-line ag manufacturers in the 1990s. An absolutely unforgettable tale, told with engaging text, over 500 photos (more than 250 in color), and appendix. 216 pages, 8 1/2 x 11 inches, hardbound.

Wow, I thought I had the only W-3 Case backhoe that needed parts that nobody has. I managed to get a water pump for it about two years ago, but I don't remember who I bought it from, I'll see if I can find the receipt. Also, brokentractor.com has Case parts, I located the brake parts for my W-3 but haven't purchased them yet. Hope this helps.

Try this place, got a water pump and some other odds and ends, prices were reasonable (2 years ago) and service was good.
