Just got a 1940 V-CASE the other day

The V is in ood shape but there are a couple of parts missing.
I need a 'winged rad. cap' and a' PTO'. Red

I can't help you there, but if you need manuals, I found a website that has them scanned in. I was thinking about buying a VAC, then changed my mind. I still enjoyed reading the manuals.

Almost had her fired up today for the first time. There is a clunk in the mag. and it may be affecting the spark output. Red

I am in the process of trying to revive a VA, (new complete USED engine),---no tag on tractor so do not know what year it might be or how to tell when tag on dash has been ripped off! thanks; sonny

I noticed a number on the left side of the block so maybe you could get somewhere with this number. Red

Starts and runs really well with new plugs, carb and mag done. She drives out really nicely in all gears. Red
