Well, I needed a larger tractor for field work and purched a 574 row crop with a 2250 IH quick hitch loader. only has 1270 hrs. Looked for a while and felt this was the way to go. Bucket's rather wide but very solid. Thanks It's 25 yrs old and was used for maintaining a driving range. Under 1300 hrs on it. I think I'll be happy with it. Looked a long time to find a reasonable priced tractor with a quick hitch bucket.

Do you mind taking a minute to explain what a quick hitch bucket is? Thanks. Joe

Joe, You park the tractor where you want to remove the loader assembly. On this model, you release 2 front pull pins, back away about a foot. The front support tube you see in the picture that crosses in front of the grill has cleared the support frame when you backed up. Using the hydraulics, you move this down to the ground to support the weight of the frame, unhitch the 4 quick hydraulic couplers, and back away. The tractor now just has 2 small subframe brackets. Much easier for field work. 5 minutes tops to go through this process. When I remove it, I'll take some pictures.
