If you have boys under 12....

... I strongly recommend purchasing Farmington Implement Co.'s DVD 3. The disk has an 11 minute piece called "Farm Inconveniences" that is worth the purchase price alone. My two boys (8 & 9) think it's the 1935 version of Funny Home Videos. They about pee their pants laughing each time they watch. Produced by IH, it's a pretty soft sell. It shows farmers falling, bumbling, tripping and neglecting machinery around dilapidated farmsteads and encourages the viewer to clean their place up. The narrator has some pretty funny and smart-aleck comments. Sad thing is, the film was made in the middle of the Depression and scenes shown were probably not uncommon at all. Oh yeah, the rest of the disk is good too. :D
