Gears needed
Hi all; newbie here... I have a very good friend who is restoring an old H. A 52' I believe. Anyway, he was going through the transmition and found that the 4/5 gear was quite worn. He found a (virtually) new replacement and installed it. Unfortunatly it was not to be, as it was a factory gear and what what he needed was an M&W gear because of the aftermarket overdrive. So now we are on a hunt for a new/good gear, or a place who can re-furbish his current. The M&W number is TSW5208H86200
So, who has any suggestions???? Thanks in advance -Eric-
edit: better make that a 42', not a 52......

UPDATE.....
I thank those who helped and would like to offer an update.
We contacted the number, and after some UPS shipping problems, and a lengthy wait, we got the new gear back and it fit well. He slowly finished restoring the whole tractor, including adding 12v power, re-building the engine, new bearings, seals, and even making some new parts.
Not wanting to risk burning up the 6v starter on a possibly hard starting engine, we elected to pull start it. Drug it around for a few yards to get the engine turning and circulate oil. Pulled the ignition on and she popped to life right away only to find that it wouldn't rev up with out back firing.... Shut it down, re-set the timing and the rest is history. It runs like a dream, the transmission works great and will now hold 5th gear with out popping out...
Next is blast and paint... Then maybe I can get some pictures.
Finally, nearing an end after nearly 6 years and tons of $$$$$$!

O.K. guys, I'm back with the requested pics... I was too late to get them in the buff, but better late than never. My friends dad painted it in his shop. He used to paint for John Deere - did a fairly good job.
Thanks again for the help and support. Although tractors really aren't my thing(not fast enough), it is good to see him get through this project.
By the way, if anyone is interested, he has an M for sale. Runs good, has new paint - looks as good as the H, decent tires, the electrical system has been straightened out, and comes with a loader. PM me if anyone is interested....

If you can't fix it with a hammer, you've got an electrical problem.
My wife says I don't listen to her. - - - - - - - - Or something like that!

YOU are the man!
Thanks for fixing them... I put them up last night, but couldn't get them to work... I was in a hurry to leave and was just gonna figure it out today. I am not used to posting hosted pictures. The forum that I spend the most time on lets you d/l your pics to their server for posting. By the way, for future reference, what did I do wrong and what did you do to fix it?
