Does anybody know about what an H weighs? Without weights of fluid in tires.

3850 lbs per the "Farm Equipment Quide". Might want to figure the actual tractor weight at another 500 to 1000 heavier if trailering the tractor.

Just scaled my brother's "new" H a couple weeks ago. It weighed 4,800lbs with wide front and three point hitch, no weights and I think he said no fluid in tires but it did have a Ford two bottom three point hitch plow. I'd guess the plow at 5-600Lbs. But then again I was GUESSING the H at 7,000.

Thanks everybody for the information. Some day I will buy an H. I can remember learning to drive, when there was no way I could sit on the seat and reach the pedals, so always drove standing up. The H was always our smallest tracftor, but so handy for so many things.

I was asking weights because I sold my F350, and it will be a few months before my F250 is on the road. (needs engine) And the Tacoma with the 1-axle trailer isn't really an H-hauling machine.

I could go across the road and try to buy one, at last count my neighbor had 17 H's. But he's like me, we can buy, but it's very difficult to sell anything.

bobperry,

The H is a good tractor to haul, any stout 1/2 ton will handle it well on a reasonable strong tandem axle trailer. There were times early in my adventure on my M that I wished I had listened to a couple good friends of mine an bought an H instead. The M is a lotta iron back there, hard to haul, hard to store...it's just plain ol' big. The H would make you a nice addition...like you need any encouragement :)
