Farmall H Seat Shock Absorber

Postby Stanton » Wed Nov 06, 2013 11:42 am

Looking for a NAPA or Monroe part number for the little shock absorber under the front seat. Anybody know it or buy their replacement shock from somewhere other than Steiners or Epay?

Stop looking. Unfortunately, you won't find one. :(

I replaced the rubber bushings on the shock and the rubber bushings on the seat pivot and it made a world of difference. Wouldn't surprise me if it has the original 1948 shock on there.

There are two ways to get enough Cubs. One is to continue to accumulate more and more. The other is to desire less.

 Guess I didn't get "of the" in there, did I? Should read: "...shock absorber under the front of the seat." :) My H only has one seat.

Thanks for your help, men.
