Farmall H Hand Crank

Postby Stanton » Thu Nov 07, 2013 10:24 am

My H didn't come with a hand crank, so am thinking about making one.

Does anyone have the dimensions (diameter rod, overall length and offset distance of handle)?

Any help is appreciated.

I'll try and make pics + measurements of mine this weekend, but it will be Sunday night before I could post back. I assume yours fits the small rod that protrudes out the front of the radiator bolster.

Stanton,

Look at item IHS546 on the Steiner web site. Click the Specifications tab. There's some information there that will be helpful.

Thanks, Don; missed that tab. Looks like 17" to the first bend and 7/8" diameter rod. By my guestimation of the Steiner's pic, the drop is a little more than half of the length, so that'll make about a 9"-10" drop. :)
