1946 H with battery ingnition (distributor)
which crankshaft pulley timing marks do I use? do I time/set points on #1 cyl. @ TDC? any other tips or suggestions, never timed a H before. Thanks Dave F.

Static time it to the first of the double notches...
The notch all by itself is for alignment when greasing the pilot bearing.
