Anybody have any pics of a handlift on a B :?: I need something to help lift the JD#5 sickle. I think I'm going to use the cub's rear handlift, just wondering if any pics....

Thanks for any help, Johnny

Does your #5 have brackets for a Hyd. cylinder? If so, a clevis in the rear attaching a cable that runs through a pulley mounted to the front bracket and up to the rear lift arm will work.
Do you have a PTO reducer? I don't know if a #5 will like 1000 RPM.
Best,
Mike

No, I don't have a pto reducer, but I thought that B's were regular speed, not 1,000 :?: I mowed about 15+ acres with it, and it was fine, espicially in the 5'+ tall grass. I don't think it has brackets for a hydro cylinder, I did think of making a setup, but then I would have to find a valve/lines/pump of sorts to put ont he tractor somewhere....

Thanks, Johnny

HI I HAVE A HAND LIFT FOR A B. IT CAME WITH MY TRACTOR. IT WAS USED TO LIFT A CULTIVATOR. WILL LET THE CULTIVATOR AND LIFT GO DIRT CHEAP. LET ME KNOW. THE B HAND LIFT WORKS LIKE A CUB MANUAL ROCKER LIFT

Well, I kinda am, I want to put a handlift from the cub on the B, just because I have it, but ifn I could find a B handlift, that would probably work better....
