C113 engine rebuild kits

Postby Duckman328 » Tue Dec 12, 2017 10:17 pm

Getting ready to purchase a complete overhaul kit and would like to get opinions from others. Looking at Abilene Machine with the fire power pistons, Yesterday Tractors with stepped pistons, and Agkits with fire crater pistons. Has anyone had any good/bad experiences with any of these out of frame kits? This is for a little 1946 Farmall B. Thanks in advance!

The last kit I bought was from my local Car-Quest. They did the machine shop work on my crankshaft and head. It was a Tisco kit, but I haven't had issues with it.

I'm sure they'll all be equally good. I bet the Abilene Machine parts will work just fine! I would definitely go with the upgraded domed pistons!
