1944 M

Postby Phillip W. Lenke » Fri Apr 03, 2009 10:56 am

We went to a Auction a couple weeks ago. Pickup up a 44 m, originally we were intending of purchasing it for the tires only, the resell the Tractor, however my eldest son liked it , so dad does not have tires for the 1940 M. I guess I have to look elsewhere.
Is as nice as it looks. Needed some tlc, grease fitting were not taking grease, valve cover gasket, oils change and small electrical work. We even were given a nice pair of fenders ,
Other than that he likes the power ,so does Dad.

Phil,

Looks very nice. Keep looking for tires, maybe not on a tractor. :)

It's a keeper. A fellow I go to church with was mentioning yesterday , he overheard a couple guy's talking after we bought it . Their comment. Do you know how much those tires cost! They got that tractor for Free.
Nice to get a deal with everything going on with us.

Nice find, good rubber, clean and straight. Definitely a keeper in my opinion...
