Farmall MD

Postby Jason (IL) » Sat Jun 05, 2010 8:45 am

I am back at it again. It didn't take me long to find another tractor to look at. I got my 450 up and running and will be going to get 2 rims next week and order all new tires, expensive but it will hopefully be worth it...

Now next on my list, sitting next to an old barn my uncle found me a Farmall MD. It has been sitting outside for 3 years??? but it sat inside for atleast 1 or 2 years not running before it got pulled outside. The problem is the front pedestal has been pulled out from under it. It is not completely pulled out but it looked as if the nuts came off the bolts. Sot it has not hit the ground yet. I was thinking Picker Tractor the whole time looking it over and what a fun project it would be...

So I have no idea what it is worth?? It looks to be in real good shspe, probable was restored 10 years ago so it is not rusty. need 4 tires rims are solid.

I was thinking of offering scrap price for it.

There is also an Farmall H sitting next to it, I really want them both but no time or money to put in to them both. I may need to win the lotto to aford this hobby much longer. The H is a very nice looking tractor with live hydraulics and all lights and all metal is near or at perfect..

Thanks
This what I've been up to lately.
I do have my eyes on a 560 LP that has been sitting out for 3 years next and I think it could be a free one.

Have a good one you all..

Those are neat old tractors, but head problems are real common if they are not shutdown properly, and the heads are getting expensive.
If you are not part of the solution,
you are part of the problem!!!
