Another M
I picked up an M yesterday just for the tires. It is not like the other M I have so I will have questions. What is the bar sticking out of the grill attached to the steering? Are the shutters an option? All together this M is in better shape than the other one except the engine is stuck.

Re: Another M
The bar slides the front mounted cultivators side to side when you turn the wheel. The shutters would indicate that the tractor was designed to run on distillate.

Agreed--however shutters could be an option on a gas engine. Suffix codes on the serial number tag should confirm for sure.
