F20 Question

I was wondering if they sold the wide front end axel for the f20 so you could change your narrow end out?
If they do how much are they?
I saw an F20 and it also came with steal rims for $1000 and thought I would ask about the front end.

They did make wide front ends for the F-series, the ones that I have seen bring far more than even a nice restored F series tractor would bring. It's not uncommon to see them in the $2000-$3000 dollar range.

Like Dusti said, yes they are out there but don't come cheap.

Here are a couple of F20's for sale in my neck of the woods:

As scarce as the wide front is, the narrow tread rear end is almost as hard to find.

Just when we think we know it all, we learn something new! Yesterday I saw pix of a 1959 Kenworth tractor with chain drive tandems and a tank retriever from WW2 built by PACCAR. For sale in Hemmings. Chain drive also. 17 liter engine.

I had a hankerin' for a pre '39 for several years, one draw back to them in my mind for me as a collector was the enormous width of the rearend. Tough to store, tough to haul, especially when you're tryin to stuff it in already cramped quarters. That's why I ended up with my F-12. When I went to look at it the fella had an F12 with a widefront end as well, non runner on full steel...but in spite of the large amount of cash I offered him he wouldn't sell it. I would really like to have a narrow tread wide front end Regular or 20 someday, but it will take a lot of money to get it when I do.
