They're not one of the more collectable Cub Cadets. Those were early in the MTD/Cub Cadet Corporation years. All aluminum rear end. Kohler 17-hp engine, which were "ok" but had their problems. They're a total pain in the a$$ to rebuild the engines because you have to literallly split the engine block in half to open them up. Not like the old K-series Kohler engines that were in the IH build cub cadets, where you can pull the oil pan and take the head off to rebuild the engine. Personally, they were decent machines, and I even have one of the next versions, the 1811, which I use out at my hunting camp, but there is basically no value as a collectors item.
