Another steal 108 cc

Postby BigBill » Fri May 28, 2021 11:34 pm

A while back I picked up another 108 cc with creeper, mower deck, snow thrower. This one was run into the ground by the PO. Ignition hanging out by the wires, hood parts missing, seat missing, pretty rough looking. But it seems he poured motor oil in the cylinder to preserve it. The engine turns over. Need to pull the head to checkout the valves to see if there stuck and the cylinder for scoring. The clutch throwout brg is stuck. We’re going to fire up the engine to see how it runs. Another project.

I need to rebuild and assemble my fcub tranny. :tractor: and rebuild my finals. The parts are here I purchased from Ralph. I’m like a fireman what ever is hotter first that’s were I go.
My son swapped the cc129 engine into another 108 I have to cut with.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

As I thought stuck valves, very bad stuck valves, were testing seafoam deep creep. If I need to pull the valves I might as well do piston and rings too.
