Can someone tell me what would cause the timing gears on a 20 hp Onan 982 to give trouble. Thanks. Red Jan23,2006

The Onan engine was only used n one model of Cubs so there won't be to many guys that can help you. You will need a better explanation than what you asked to get information. I recommend you try this site as it deals wit the Onan Cub Cadet model.
