Creeper Questions

Does a creeper reduce every gear 1st-3rd? Does it work like an M&W just no overdrive? :D

A creeper provided either direct drive, or a 4 to 1 under drive (reduction is probably a better word) in every gear, because the reduction happens before the transmission. An M&W 9 speed is the same - over, direct, or under and it also is before the transmission. You cannot have both a creeper and an M&W (not without a lot of custom machine work). These are both in addition to the stock gear reduction built into the input of the Cub Cadet transmission. That stock reduction is 7 to 1, and is achieved through the different size drive belt pulleys and the gears on the front of the transmission on an Original. On the other gear drive models the 7 to 1 is all in the gears at the front of the transmission.
