Hi H. H.: Any Cub dealer or IH Case dealer should have them in stock or you can try http://www.cubclassics.com/ or http://www.cngcoinc.com/parts-browse.asp who can ship them to you.
The Geezer from IHregistry.com which crashed and is now Cub Cadet Collectors.

Since I'm disabled and can't get out or walk too far somedays I mainly use http://www.partstree.com for all my new tractor parts. It gets delivered to my door. Just click on cubcadet and then garden tractor and pick the number of your tractor.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Thanks to everyone. It turns out the parts were avilible locally, CarQuest had the kit and the local mower repair had the float. I never would have imagined that parts for a 30 year old engine would still be in stock. It seems that most places just carry the parts for newer stuff, after all those are the ones that break down the most. One local mower repair told me that a Cadet that old wouldn't be worth fixing. I knew right then I was in the wrong place!
