149 w/loader

Postby Denny Clayton » Thu Sep 23, 2010 10:05 am

Ran across an ad last night for a CC 149 with a loader. New front & rear tires, rear hydraulic lift, two sets of wheel weights and set up for and includes dual rear wheels. Haven't seen it yet.

Any words of wisdom on things to look/watch out for? Broad range of what it should be worth?

Thanks.

Check the subframe and loader for cracks and leaks on the hydraulic system. Check the rear axles for oil leaks too. I've4 seen the rear axles wipeout the bearings and wear there way into the axle housing when the oil level in the tranny goes low from leaks in the hydraulic system. Some of these are so neglected.
I'm technically misunderstood at times i guess its been this way my whole life so why should it change now.

Sold a Johnson loader for a CC for $500-. Loader was off of a manual transmisison CC.

Check the front axle spindles and bearings.
I have an excuse. CRS.
