Jim:

You never cease to amaze ... this is really a neat project. Looks almost like a factory design. Well done .. looking forward to seeing it finished and running .. as in video's :D What gets me is the creativity.. amazing.

Now I got a tiny question... how is the balance, weight distribution? Is it light in the rear end? If so, is there plans for counter weights?

The balance is pretty good. With the hood off I can put my weight (about 180) on the front grill section and the back stays on the ground. If I bounce up and down it just starts to try lift the rear wheels. So I figure with me on it, it will even be heavier on the back. Don't think it will be neccessay to put any counter weights on it.

Thanks for the comments guys.

Don't know if it will be done by then. Will keep working on it when time permits.

Nice work, awesome craftsmanship too. That baby is screaming for duallies too right? Bill

For duallie spacers on the cadet i was thinking of using my extra axles were i changed out to disc brakes and drill out the lug holes for the duallie studs on the inboard wheel and us a 1'' id hole with 2'' bar stock to make the wheel spacers that can be welded to the cut off axle flanges. We can leave the outside flange threaded to attach the outboard wheel/rim. I'm itchin for duallies on one of my cadets. I figure with duallies on my fcub and my cadet next why not on my int154 cub next with the 13.6x16 turf tires. I may do the 154 just for ha's ha's to take pics of it and remove them so i can put the 154 back to mowing.

Jim. Thanks for turning me onto this at the Bash! When you were descibing it to me, I was trying to picture how it would look if I tried all of the fabrication it would take. You do much better work than me!

It looks great so far!

Still in the paint phase and parts hanging around in the garage. Work has been getting in the way so not much progress has been made. The rear frame, tranny, brakes, and wheels are painted and put back together.

Don't you hate when that happens. Forty hours every week taken away from our fun time. I like your ideas with these projects and can't wait for the finished product . Maybe it can make it's debut at the Bash next year.

What's a 40 hour work week? :?

Did about 58 this week.

Jim, Bill works for the federal government and gets paid for 40 hours with no deduction for Cub forum time.
