What is the best kind of plow to use with a 982!
Thu Mar 03, 2011 6:25 am
Most people plow dirt with a 10" plow, the majority being Brinly(there are other brands that work with Cub Cadet 3 point hitch) and a 982 should be able to handle a 12" plow but don't see very many of them.

Being a green horn and all on plows; how do you measure a plow. 8,10,12".

You measure the plow from the Landside (Fig 5.) to the outside of the plow Fig 6. X-A which is the perpendicular measurement and the Furrow width.
Here is the installation instructions for a 10" Brinly Plow http://www.cubcadetcollectors.com/manuals/main.php?g2_itemId=4298
