It was only produced 1 year, 1997, but I have seen a few that were sold in early 1998 and labeled as a 1998 tractor. Those were good tractors, Mitsubishi, 27hp, and I believe it is a hydrostatic drive, and 4-wheel drive. New they were about $18,000. EXCELLENT MACHINE! Will handle a loader nicely, the hydrostatic drive is foot controlled, so no gears or clutch, however I do believe that it has a low and high gear range selector, so if you're using a tiller or snow blower, you can throw it in low gear range and just creap around, without having the feather the hydrostatic drive controller.

We have a late 1980s/ early 1990s model 180 Mitsubish, predacesor to the Cub Cadet / Mitsu tractors. It has about 2000 hours on it and has NEVER had anything done to it other than fluid changes and grease. It is 18-hp 4x4 gear drive, and ALWAYS Starts, regardless of the temperature. We have a 42" tiller on it, and that is basically all we use it for now, although it spent about 15 years running a 54" belly mower.
