I've never seen a belly mount blade for a cub cadet. Are you talking about a belly mount blade for a cub? If so, check here:

I've never seen one for a cub Cadet either, but they may have been made. Several years ago I had a Homelite (Simplicity) lawn tractor that had a factory belly mount grader blade. It worked surprisingly well.

Also welcome to the board.

IH never made any, so you won't find any parts manuals, however, IH Cub Cadet dealers did sell them as Special Duty Equipment (SDE). SDE was not made by IH, but the methods of mounting, and the use were accepted by IH, and it would not effect the warranty of the tractor. The equipment was also call Allied Equipment. There are SDE brochures available on eBay at times, and you may fine them in some of those brochures. Covina Equipment Co. of Erwindale, CA made one (usually pictured on an Original model Cub Cadet), the Terra-Blade was made by Johnson Hydraulic Equipment Co (commonly called just Johnson and they also made front loaders for garden tractors), Minneapolis, MN, and Daly, made by A.B. Daly & Co., Coos Bay OR. There were also several different rear blades made, including a couple by IH, Brinly-Hardy and others. Some of the SDE suppliers made several different items.

It is interesting to note that of the first 10 cub Cadet prototypes built in Louisville, KY, and shipped to the engineering Test Center at Hinsdale, IL, 2 of them were earmarked for allied equipment builders for use in developing equipment for the tractor.

Paul B. covered what I know about a belly blade(I always wanted that implement as you don't see very many). Some one on the IHregistry also asked about a center mounted blade on E-bay. This is for a blade only but gave instructions to fab a center blade

I do have an Ad for the Terra Blade that I can E-mail anyone interested. I think I have a picture of the Clovia also.

Dave, that looks a bit tall for a belly blade, looks more like a rear blade, but someone might have an interest in what appeard to be a Howard Rotovatior that is behind it.
