I have a C.C. 104, and I was wondering how much oil went in the transmission? Is it the same 3 1/2 pt. as a cub or is it different? And how much oil goes in the engine? I any one could let me know. Thanks Ray

Ray:
The 104 Owner's Manual - Lubrication Chart says .. 7 pints of Hy-Tran or SAE-30wt. Your choice.

The 10 hp engine holds 3 pints of oil. All IH built gear drive Cub Cadets (except the 1100, 482, 582 Special) take 7 PINTS of Hy-Tran or 30W oil in the transmission. The hydrostatic drive models take 7 QUARTS of Hy-Tran.

Wow, that's interesting! My JD 420 L&G with 20 hp Onan engine w/hydrostat only takes 5 quarts. The CC system must be a monster.

Looks like I missed the engine part of the question ... I see Paul caught that
Looks like I got the answer on how much Hy-Tran my 129 will need
