127 Pretty much done

Paul, thanks for all your tips. My 127 is finished except for painting the rims and putting the decals on in a month or so after the paint is completely dry. You were right on about the blue wire needing to be switched to the terminal on the back of the VR. I did that and all was well. I broke the tractor in tonight following my local CC dealers advice. He is an old IH dealer too. Great guy. Which brings up another point. I am going to contact MTD or Cub Cudet to let them know what outstanding product support they have. It is hard to believe that I can buy just about any part I need for a garden tractor that is around 35 years old. Here is a partial list of what I purchased new from my CC dealer: The old color yellow paint, white paint, black paint. A complete wiring harness that could not have fit better or been made of better materials. Each end was crimped, soldered and shrink wrapped. Head light, tail lights, one idler pulley, all the parts and gaskets needed to rebuild a K-301, gas line, fuel bowl screen and gasket, Low-ash 30 Wt, Hy-Tran and a filter. Anybody willing to post a couple pictures for me if I e-mail them?
Thanks to all.
