Original wiring questions
I have been going thru the extra parts I have and found the remains of a old wiring harness. What size wires should I plan to use when I replace the wires?I need to know what the correct routing of the wires is.I also will need to look into where to get some paint.I know this has been asked before.when i did a search,it said nothing found.Thank you for any help.I will have a lot more questions as i hopefully make progress.Rick

Re: Original wiring questions
Rick,
Wiring harness is simple enough to make but if you are "restoring" the Original, I would get a new harness. I have had good luck with Porch Electric and they have a good quality one... http://www.porchelectric.com/index_files/Page3513.htm
Paint, get IH paint, my opinion, like oil, there are lots of opinions.
Good luck,

Re: Original wiring questions
Rick,
Just another thought, give Hamilton Bob a call on the wiring harness, he doesn't have it listed but he does have some Cub Cadet parts. I got a great quality harness for a CC 73 from him, great price. He is just down the road if he has it!
Good luck,

Any place that mixes and sell automotive paint; car dealerships, auto body shops, auto parts stores. If you have a sample or the paint code, they can usually mix you up a batch. Some places will put the paint in spray cans.cubby wrote:I also will need to look into where to get some paint.
I have an excuse. CRS.
