Going off the spur and beard length, I'd say it was a nice 2 year old tom. Don't know exactly where you were hunting, but a lot of territory in mid-and-western Kansas has a mix of Eastern and Rio sub-species turkeys. When he was strutting, you could definitely see the white edges on his tail feathers, but your close-up (when he was wet), the tips looked more buff colored.
Nothing like being out pre-dawn and hearing those gobblers sounding off from the limb. CONGRATULATIONS!!
