Tomorrow I'll be cutting the hay on our lifestyle block,we intend using all vintage gear, from mower to Inter baler. Should be a good few days for the guys from the club, let's hope the wind dies down, hate to see it all in the neighbours. :)

W6NZ - I agree - pictures please! Sounds like it will be great fun. If I haven't already said so, welcome aboard. It's great to see folks from all over the world join our little "family".

Big Dog our little family is about to hit a milestone. I looked and we are up to 1990 members in this family. As I said to my Great Grand mother "Nanna you started all of this" at a family get together. I was severely repramanded and invited not to say that again. For what ever reason she took it as a blot on her Virtue. Thinking about it she was then about the age I am now

pics from our club open day, unfortunately we weren't able to use the sicklebar mower ( condition of the hay) had to resort to a twin disc mower, rake is a mid 50's Vicon, (don't take too much notice of the tractor pulling it,) the BMD and International 55T baler went like a dream, brought back many memories, the sun was shining, a bit too hot at times, but the boys had a great time reminiscing, or were they telling stories

condition of the baler when my mate & I found it under trees. Bulls had got under it and tipped it on its side, we had a bit of a struggle righting it, me falling on my back in the process. the dog knew to slink away.lol

Pretty awesome W6NZ. Looks like a lot of fun wish I had been there. Glad to have you in the form with us. Its increadible how strong bulls are. When we were kids my uncles bull was coming out the gate from the pasture my brother backed the tractor aginst a round bale to block him off. The bull put his head under the 800+ pound bale and tossed it ten to fifteen feet through the air before landing and rolled up to the barn.

I was wondering is W6NZ a ham radio call sighn Rudi and others here a big ham's oops I mean ham operators. Sorry Guys could'nt resist the pun.
