Breakfast Casserole (Sausage)
6 eggs, beaten
2 cups milk
1 teaspoon dry mustard
1 teaspoon pepper
½ teaspoon salt
4 slices bread, cut in 1-inch cubes
1 lb sausages, cooked & drained
1 cups grated medium or sharp cheddar cheese
Combine beaten eggs, milk, salt, pepper and mustard. Into a greased rectangle casserole dish, layer bread, sausage and cheese. Repeat layer. Pour liquid mixture over ingredients in casserole dish
Cover and refrigerate overnight.
Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35-40 minutes.
Wonderful make ahead casserole for overnight guests or for breakfast or brunch.
Great as a Christmas make ahead breakfast.
