Cookie Exchange

Postby littleflower » Fri Dec 22, 2006 4:51 pm

Hi everyone,

I just wanted to let you know that I hosted my first cookie swap a couple weekends ago. It turned out great! Each person brought 3 dozen cookies and the recipe. We had refreshments and door prizes, plus everyone voted on the "best of show" cookie. We copied down whatever recipes we wanted to add to our own collections. I passed out trays and cellophane bags so everyone went home with a pretty tray that included three of each kind of cookie. I'm already planning next year's party.

I'd definitely like to try it for our next CubFest!

Bossdog always brings DELICIOUS cookies to Cub-Arama (but you have to be quick, they don't stay around long) If everyone or some, what to do this we can get a little sign and set a section aside under the pavillion (who wants to eat in the sun when you can have shade  )

Alas, I'm gonna have to resign from being an official cookie taste tester. Sugar, refined flour and saturated fats are no longer allowed in my "lifestyle". My humble apologies. On the bright side, the gingerbread man no longer carries a bounty on his head.
