I wish I could send you some of ours. It has rained 2 or 3 times a week for about the last 6 weeks. Not just a shower, but RAIN. I have just about started to mildew between my toes.

Billy, if you've got a long rope, tie it on to some of those clouds and I'll hook the Cub on this end and see if I can't pull a little rain our way. As 1cubmaster says, we finally have gotten a little over 3" since last Sunday. And that's the first measurable rain since the 1st of April.

Put it this way.. Dry is not a word I could use for this part of New Brunswick. My gardens are so soggy, I almost bogged Ellie down.... can't harrow or plant.. I am now 5 weeks behind.. I may not get much of a garden at all this summer. Fingers are crossed..

Rudi, I know how you feel but in the opposite direction, dry, dry, dry! I just replanted for the 5th time about 2 weeks ago! Billy says they are 15 inches above normal and that is what we are behind for the year, 15". Seeds just won't come up in powder and that's all we've had so far this year. Right now, corn is about 5" tall, okra about 3" tall and peas about 6" tall and if they don't make it this time, well that's it for this year as it's getting to late to replant. Oh well, we've got other things to be thankful for, so we can just gripe a little and wait until next year. Pete

Nope. None here. The ground is dryer than a popcorn f*rt. I'm thinking the first planting of sweet corn rooted deeply because it was dry then and it looks good now. Other stuff is either dead or dormant... except for the zuccinni.

Aroundhere.NW Ohio, forecast. DRY with extended DRY. The farmers tile everything and get the water off as quick as possible , then pray for more rain.
