I used one wire 30 inches high. Later when the sweet corn ears out, I will add 2 lower wires for raccoons. The wires for raccoons have been very successful over the years.

I have heard the scarecrow solution works well. I have not tried it yet.

A fence to keep the dogs in, and you don't care if the deer can get over it. Let them scatter their own poo.
