Farmall Cub

I am looking into planter plate options for next year. I have several sizes for corn but would like to try planting beans also with the cub. What plates have you guys used for beans? I just bought some 3301A on ebay that are listed as large soybeans. I thought they might work. Thanks in advance for any advice !!!

well with many questions left open it is very hard to answer.
questions that need to be answered first.
1. Type of planter unit?
2. type of bean planted?
3. Size of seed?
4. What planting ratio do you desire? ie how many plants per foot.

you might want to stop by your local seed dealer. Each manufacturer of seed might recomend a different planting rate. Seed dealers use to carry seed plates for sale or lend out. However now that plate planters are all but extinct, they do not carry many plates if any at all.

I am new to planting with the cub. Actually the planter is not in my possesion yet, it is in the cub express and will get it hopefully before planting time next spring. I just need to drive over to Ohio and get it to finnish the express. The planter uses the standard plates that most of the old Farmall planters use. It is a one row fast hitch version. I am looking into planting green beens with it. May as well use it on everything I can, I figure it will get me more seet time !!! Thanks for any help
