chicken problem

Postby smigelski » Thu Aug 21, 2008 8:25 am

can you use a pair side cutters, linemans pliers, dikes, what ever you want to call them. to debeak chickens. I have about 20 chicks that 4 weeks old. about 10 of them feel the need to peck the other chickens and try to skin them. So the only way to stop it is a little debeakin.

Why not. You only take 1/4 to 1/3 off.

Check this out.
Other interesting stuff if you google debeak.
