These paw paws are also knows as Ozarks Bananas. They are kinda rare in SW Missouri. I only know one place where to find some.

Those are what we refer to here in west Virginia as West Virginia actually they are known as PAW PAWs and when frosted on they are very good to eat.

I have never heard of or seen them before but that is probably because of where I live at.

I had some of those growing in my flower bed this summer. Had no idea what they were!

A previous owner had planted a paw paw tree on our land in south Missouri. A half dozen small ones appeared. The house has been vacant for 12-15 years and I haven't checked recently to see if the trees have survived. But they grew very well in SW Missouri. Dan
