most pleasure from the garden

Postby smigelski » Fri Sep 26, 2008 10:22 am

Since I had a ton of little pumpkins about the size of a softball left. I took them into my sons class in school. Nothing like seeing a bunch of happy kids. Teacher is not really sure how they are going to decorate them yet. You know since schools are politcally correct and nolonger do halloween or thanksgiving.

Great use of the small pumpkins. Kids get into things like that.

Your comment on the politically correctness brought up something I can't seem to explain with any logic my feeble brain can come up with.

Why was the goal of our congress to complete their squandering of our tax dollars by Rosh Hashanah?

It seems to me that would be classed as support for an individual religion and patently prohibited by the constitution. Is it just me or are our leaders really bent on creating a train wreck? I for one am disgusted by what they are doing. Where did our sense of patriotism go. We were ready to tip the King of England on his ear for 1/2 of 1 percent tea tax, now we are standing still for a $700 Billion handout that we don't have (That really was $850 Billion by the time enough pork was added to assure passage) and since passage have doled out nearly an extra $50 Billion to AIG since the execs went on their "RETREAT" I'd like to see the perpetrators of this idea do jail time!! :x :x :x

I guess I'd better go out in the garden till my blood pressure goes back down.
