same thing as the summer, let them walk around.
I thought about sticking them in a box and mailing them south, but how would I get them back?

Re: What to do with ducks?
When I was a kid we had a couple of ducks on our farm pond. As the winter got colder, and the pond froze, they would take turns swimming in a a circle to keep the water from freezing. As January closed in, the hole inthe ice got down to a couple feet across, and they had to give it up. They knew that open water was their only defence against foxes and coons.
Best,
Mike
