Stuffed Strawberries with Walnuts

Stuffed Strawberries with Walnuts

18 extra-large Strawberries
3/4 cup whipped Cream Cheese
2 Tablespoons finely chopped Walnuts
1 1/2 teaspoons Powdered Sugar
1/2 to 1 1/2 teaspoons Milk

Cut a thin slice from the stem end of strawberries, allowing the berries to stand upright. Cut 1/4 inch off tip end of berries, reserving tips. Carefully, scoop out about half of the pulp from each berry, leaving shells intact. Combine the pulp with cream cheese, walnuts, sugar and milk (start with 1/2 teaspoon and add more as needed to make a creamy consistency) mixing well. Spoon mixture into a decorating bag fitted with a large tip and pipe mixture into strawberries. Or, use a baby spoon and very carefully put some of the mixture inside each berry. Top with the reserved strawberry tips.

This is good for an appetizer, a desert, or just a snack.

Enjoy! Thanks; Virginia
