Have a Dog, Get a Cat

Postby Sam C » Mon Nov 23, 2009 1:40 pm

Finally I got a dog. It was supposed to keep the chickens safe. Well to make a log story short It didnt
It was horrible and way to clumsy to catch anything. Then unfortunatly our 14 year old cat died of a racoon fight. So we went to the pound and got us a new kitten and then when we pulled up our new chickes arrived, and he tried to eat them but soon he learned that they were friend not foe. Sice we've had him hes caught more critters than we can count . Today he caught 3 chipmunks and 1vole. A cat is FAR better than a dog (Critter Killer Wise).

Sam it depends on what's being hunted, my cat kills a lot of small stuff, and she's rather dear to me. then again my dog jack would kill the cat and anything else his size out there if he was allowed. i kind of like having them both.

My pit bull Travels is the world's friendliest dog. I found a wild kitten at work well....like 20 kittens and found them all homes but kept one because he was not completely litter box trained. Well he turned out to be the splitting image of the older cat around here and keeps him company and active. But back to the point he also is best buds with my dog and they sleep together and hang out alot too. Nice mix of two cats (1 yr old and 12 yr old) and a dog. All pets are black haired, too. At night out all you see are 3 sets of green eyes. yikes!!!!!!!!
