Re: Trail Camera
I sure haven’t seen anything like that this year. We had a fly infect our deer population with "Blue Tongue" and it has killed a lot of deer around here. I have only seen a few deer since the season opened.
I had a little fork horn about 6 yards from me last Saturday but haven't seen any decent bucks as of yet. I did glimpse this little guy just a few minutes after this picture was taken.
I hunted north of town yesterday evening and saw 3 does, two walked within 10 yards of my stand. I am heading to PA in a couple of weeks for a week of bow hunting. Maybe I'll see more deer then. It sure has been a bummer of a season so far this year.

I have a lot of doe come into my food plot. This morning there were 5 of them. One small 6 pointer as well
I have not yet seen that monster set of horns when I was out there
Some of the trees I have planted 3 years ago near my plot have been butchered and turned into rubs..i think that is WOOD FIBER on his horns in that close up pic
The pic of the long tined buck I just posted was from a camera under a stand I was not in!! I was out there the night this pic was taken. I saw the camera flash when he was standing there
TIme and location is what bowhunting is all about for sure

Re: Trail Camera
Rick, we had a round of that Blue Tongue a few years back right after a season with no rain. It was so bad I could stop at the farm to open the gate and smell the deers rotting. The owner and I walked different sections of the farm and counted around 25 deer. We thought it was over for hunting but after that it seems everythings back to normal....
I've made it out 1 evening so far and took a small 8pt.
It's still hot outside and I really don't get excited until the 1st of November.
