Are they the same company now? My reason for asking is that I ordered a part for a Marlin 22 and it came from Remington Arms.

I love my Marlin 22. Have a few Remingtons too. I don't think there was a better scatter gun than the 870. I even have a 30-06 pump pased on the 870. I was duck hunting once and dropped my Wingmaster in 3 ft. water/ mud. After fishing it out, I swished it around in the pond water, field stripped it and dried it with my shirt tail and hunted the rest of the day with nary a mis-fire or hang up.

Yep, Harrington and Richardson became New England arms, was bought by Marlin, and the whole mess was bought by Remington.

just goes to show you how well I keep up to date.
