Gray Cub and I headed out to town on the cub this afternoon to pick up his new bow I ordered a few weeks ago.
We just found out he''ll be shooting left handed so some changes had to be made....
He's shooting much better and really excited about difference.

Re: New archer out there
Wow! That is a great looking bow and his form looks perfect. I like the way he looks relaxed and focused while shooting. The boy's going to get real good real fast with form and focus like that. The Good groupage is testament to that. I put a kisser button on Ashlynn's bow too so it would help her establish a good anchor. She loves shooting her recurve or longbow but she is still somewhat apprehensive about shooting her compound bow. She also doesn't like using the release having shot with fingers since she was 2 1/2 years old but with the short compound (PSE) using a release is necessary to get a good consistent release.

Yep Don, he couldn't hit nothing while shooting right handed al this time. I happened to have a bb gun out one day and he still shot the same way. I then had him try it as a lefty and he was on the target every time.
I didn't realize until later that there's a lot of people who shoot that way, some even shoot guns one way and bows the other.
Rick, I really miss shooting with my fingers but after a Gravely accident one night and having a index finger sowed back on they just don't bend that way anymore. Gray Cub's excited and looking forward to me being off mid week so he can shoot some more.
Thanks everyone.

He's not the only one. I shoot a rifle and a bow left handed--pistol, right handed--go figure
