Springs Sprung in Dixie

Well it feels as though Spring has sprung down south. All the trees are covered with leaves and new fruit sets on the pear tree and flower sets on the satsuma tree. Had a little trouble getting the potatos up, we had 10 plus inches of rain back around the 1st week of March, but what did make it is coming on strong!

Just finished my beet experiment, while I did not get the result I was looking for, I did manage to get enough to make a couple of jars of pickled beets w/ onions and eggs and man did they turn out good!

Getting the ground prep'd for the spring planting, but I'm really having a fit with the piece of a hay field I converted to a garden spot this past October. I'm glad I've got the regular garden spot to fall back upon.

I haven't seen much posting in the garden section so far, I guess its still to cold in most parts...

Good Luck Everybody :!:

Too early up here, but a lot of people have started their transplants in the hot house. Ed, isn't your nose cold and wet, too?
