got my moneys worth

Postby DanR » Fri May 20, 2011 6:01 am

County Extension Agents are special people in my mind. They help with anything that grows among all the other things they do. They are paid with tax payer dollars. Our local Agent called and ask if I need to get rid of extra plants in the hoop house. This time of year there are always extras. She and her office person came by and cleaned up everything. The vegetable plants are going to a fellow that grows for the local Food Bank and the flowers went back to the office for give-a ways. Next I suppose she will be tromping thru my taters looking for bugs. A hard working and neat gal. Thanks Melody. :D :D :D :D :D

Dan,

As a retired County Extension Agent, I can appreciate your thoughts and I'm sure that Melody would appreciate them as well. Soooo, I took the liberty of sending her your post.

Some of that government "discretionary spending" at work. Something to think about at tax time. Good for her and the work she does. Good for you for reminding us.
