Baling Hay Finally

Wow-we actually got some hay into bales today - not without challenges - solved the old farmer way. So the rear clutch plate at the flywheel gave up. Gotta get the hay in - take her up the barn - move the front clutch plate to the back, tighten the hell out it - keep baling. We know the field and there are no rocks or wood so we're comfortable doing that. Will order new clutch disks Monday.
The baler is old as heck, but if you don't push it the knotters perform pretty well. Instead of 90 rpm on the plunger we need to run closer to 65-70 rpm's.
Old Dad at 94 had to get out and watch his grandson bale hay.....Gotta love the farm life.
