Yellow Raspberries

Postby Eugene » Thu Jun 11, 2015 3:21 pm

Yellow raspberries are starting to produce. Wife and son picked some two days ago. Sweet, excellent quality. About two cups made it into the house. Not sure how much wife and son ate while picking fruit.

Wash and freeze small quantities of fruit until get enough for a cobbler.

Planted roots 3 years ago, all but one died. This plant struggled for two years. Finally took off, grew, produced fruit.

Planted another set of roots 2 springs ago. Grew well and producing fruit.

Son is so impressed with the taste and quality, he is talking about removing black berries from half of the arbor and planting additional yellow raspberries.
I have an excuse. CRS.
